It's like Nintendo is dragging itself into 2017 kicking and screaming. They continue to amaze me with how stubborn they remain to welcome the fact it's no longer 1992.

I meant more in the way of stuff like game saves not being transferable, the eshop not having any virtual games yet for Nintendo's own systems, but Neo Geo found a way to get stuff up already, etc .

They don't embrace anything futuristic and are far too concerned/spend too many resources on the closed environment they're obsessed with maintaining.

They were pretty straight forward, that online is free until atumn and virtual console will show up with the paid service....

as a wii u owner I'm happy I get to play earlier instead of waiting for the full package release.

It's kinda bare bones launch, but they always get away with it , why not.

Dont you only get to keep VC titles for a month or something like that? Like they are free with the paid service, but they change every month

As dumb as that sounds, I wouldn't be surprised. Unless it's their version of "free monthly games" like ps/xbox services. If there's no option to buy virtual titles straight out....then I foresee a lot of disgruntled fans.

Not sure how widespread the overheating and warping issues the switch is having. The same thing goes with the Joycon issues. Im putting off getting a switch for maybe 6-8 months or so. I got a 2ds to pass the time plus doing a NG+ of Persona 5 as well.

Just got my Hori adapter.

As far as numbers go, it seems to be slightly (10%) faster than my old Wii LAN adapter.

I also tried both the usb on the side and the 3.0 port on the inside of the docking station, it seems the 3.0 on the inside is giving more consistent results. out of 5 tests I always nearly had the same number.

With no downloads in the backround the usb port on the side was +- 5 Mbs.

As far as stbility goes, will test later on with bomberman.

Probably for the best considering software will still be quite bare 6 months out from now.

pretty sure you're throwing around some rumors.

how much dope do you guys consume in that dope thread before you post on other threads, claiming that you pay for a game and keep it 1 month?

I'm assuming he's mixing up two options.

I'm guessing Nintendo will give 3 free games, monthly, to owners of the service. The same way Microsoft and Sony do for theirs, but Nintendo may keep it strictly to virtual titles since they're the biggest jews this side of the equator.

I would think a second option is to buy whatever you want and keep it for the life of the system.

But...I don't know that drugs are a reason for this thinking. It IS Nintendo. You can't even transfer a game save to a new system.

It's not a baseless rumour, it was widely reported a while back

http://www.polygon.com/2017/1/13/142...games-not-free

So it's either just nintendo not clarifying enough or indeed you only have them for a month

Of course, this might all change when the online stuff launches later this year, because what was reported was not popular

Yeah. The Switch with its software kind of reminds me of the PS3 when it launched back in 2006.

Well, after some people use it as an example to make the Switch out to be a joke, it's very nice to see Konami has finally got to grips with the Switch and patched Super Bomberman R to run at 60fps. Nice!

I didn't mind the 30fps, since bomberman was always like that, but let's see how it plays now, kinda excited.

I've got my PS4, my PC, and my Switch. Lately, more of my gaming time has been spent on my Switch, specifically in Breath of the Wild. Which is funny, seeing as i've actually killed Ganon like two weeks ago (Yes, i've been taking my time with the game). Now i'm just playing it to mess around, upgrade armor, get armor bits I missed, hunt for shrines and Korok's...

Don't think anyone can deny that Nintendo makes some of the best games around. ESPECIALLY when it comes to good old fashioned side-by-side couch-sitting multiplayer.
