Am I the only one who thinks the handling is absolutely PoS? I know its supposed to be arcade and all but still...

I mean, its like the steering stays on for about a sec or so, it is so annoying.
Drifting tap left, end drift, left stays on, I find myself in a wall -.-

Almost forgot: /rage

i don't find the handling that great normally, but i always play racers on Bumper cam, and the steering is just perfect in this at that angle, also, the game is so much faster!

I play on a Playstation2 control pad, using the sticks! awesome!!

Whats your take on the road blocks? most of the time you dont even hit them and you crash, they defo seem really glitchy to me.... theres only so much crashing into them one can take before it starts to get REALLY annoying, especially when you KNOW you never even so much as clipped the cars.

^^hahaha unless I know i've hit the gap bang on, or managed a sneaky takedown, i'm all prepared for the full on crash. Doesn't bother me too much to be honest.

FOR ALL THOSE who have bad performance/stutter in-game...i may have found a small solution:
The biggest problem of the game is it's low CPU usage, and YES, i am right!
We must force the game to use the full capacity of every core right? RIGHT!
so, i present you, CPU CONTROL>>>http://www.brothersoft.com/cpu-control-125211.html
After installing this software, leave it running, open Need for Speed HP, and then ALT-TAB, locate the process called NFS11.exe and right click, and then select which cores to use by right-clicking and selecting ALL CPU's, and then your desired core usage.
I recommend for those with quads to try a tricore use, and compare it to the quad use...
I hope this helps you guys, because it sure helped me with 15+ fps and very rare/ocassional/minimal stuttering.
SALUTATIONS FROM ROMANIA!

Been playing this all morning after grabbing it from D2D, absoloutely loving it so far, no performance issues, running on the laptop mentioned in the specs below, settings maxed, everythings running very smoothly.

Hot Pursuit 2 was possibly the last NFS game I enjoyed so have been really looking forward to this coming out

Action packed game not too difficult and not really too easy either.

This time round they focused on the action and the exotic car aspect and suspended belief in preventing cars from being totally annihilated despite having tires punctured and crashing into walls.

Totally fun i would say. It's been a long time since a racing game has been this fun and even implemented a couple of different perspectives into the game. You can play as both cop and racer and the cops drive exotic top of the line cars. Damn imagine the number of ppl joining the force just to simply get behind the wheel of a lambo or even zonda.

Old school Criterion I am afraid. The hit detection on close call traffic passes is just the same, you aim to just pass some oncoming traffic and end up some how hitting it, exactly the same as in Burnout Paradise.
