Default AMD Fuel Service - 07-16-2012, 14:28 | posts: 14

What is this AMD Fuel Service and why has it stopped working. According to my reliability monitor, it shows that the AMD Fuel Service has stopped working.

I've updated to the latest driver/ccc version (12.6). It was all so showing up in my last version of 12.4.

It's responsible for the CPU Power and CPU Overdrive options in CCC.

Thanks for the quick reply and answer. Now I know what its for, why is it reported in the reliability monitor as not working? I do have both overdrive options enabled and in use, if that makes a difference.

No idea why it's reported but it's not needed. I usually disable the service.

This is what you would see with FUEL running:

Yep...that's exactly what I see, as I have both CPU and GPU overclocked with in the CCC.

Must be some glitch between windows 7 and AMD.

Thanks again.

No problem.....

And yeah I wouldn't worry about it too much, maybe just a glitch like you said..
